Why 4 stars? Because it was fine, but definitely tiny!
--- --- ---
Of all the hotels we stayed at in Europe, I don't want to call this one our "least favorite" but it was definitely the least memorable. With that being said, it we definitely didn't regret our choice, but nothing much stood out about it, other than the fact that the room was extremely small. The roof was slanted downward onto one side of the room, which made it feel even smaller.
It was about .3 miles from the nearest train station, and the weather was chilly and rainy for the couple of days during our stay, which wasn't the end of the world, but wasn't ideal. At the end of a long day of walking around the city, that up-hill trek back to the room felt more like 3 miles than .3.
As was the case with all of our other European hotels in May, the A/C was not turned on, so we had to leave our window open. The best part of this hotel was that we were in a very quiet neighborhood, so we heard virtually no noise coming from the road, especially compared to some other cities we stayed in.
I am a pillow princess when I sleep - I like to either have a body pillow, or as it the case with hotels, build a fort of pillows around me. I requested just a couple of extra pillows when we arrived, but they said they didn't have any. On the second night of our stay, they sent some to the room, but it just seemed to odd that a hotel wouldn't have a constant supply of extra pillows.
As I'm writing this review, I feel like I'm doing more complaining than praising, but the truth is, we enjoyed our stay just fine. If you're thinking about staying here, it's not going to be your all-time favorite hotel, but you could definitely do worse!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Rich H.Berkeley Hills, Berkeley, Estados Unidos2103376313 may 2010Primera reseña

This hotel is adorable. Absolutely awesome decor and the mural behind the front desk is gorgeous! A mix of modern and trendy and vintage. We stayed 4 nights, the bed was rather hard but we were so exhausted after a long day running around Paris, it didn't bother us until we woke up in the morning with sore backs.
We never tried the breakfast (currently charging 14€ for) because we enjoyed getting local pastries.
My biggest annoyance was their were no mirrors anywhere close to outlets. So anytime I plugged in my curling iron I had to be very creative. Once I used the tv reflection, once I tried to use the bathroom door mirror 10 feet away, and finally I used the front facing camera on my ipad- just to do my hair!
My husband and I decided we would stay their again because its in an excellent location- very close to the metro stop, next to the Jardin de Luxembourg, and a few minute walk away from the pantheon. Also tons of amazing pastry shops and restaurants in the area as well.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Usuario Qype (john78…)East Grinstead, Reino Unido3642 sept 2009
Stayed there, it's great. As it was in renovations (they promised it would be over in Sept) am only giving it 3 stars. Otherwise the deco and the hotel is brand spanking new and really nice. In the best area of Paris - Saint Germain just by the Odeon theatre!

Just returned from a week-end stay in this hotel and I was delighted. They just finished their hotel renovations when we arrived and it was brand new and fresh. I like everything in this hotel, a mixture of old parts such as wooden beans, stones and designed deco! Beautiful patio with its climbing ivy. My room had a huge visual of a fountain and it fits perfectly with the deco which is very sophisticated. It is very esthetics and cosy. The bathroom is impressive, bright, elegant, with all you can imagine and want in a bathroom. As to the staff, they really were friendly and helpful. I felt in a 4 star hotel. I will defitinely return.
