In Action Bowlswear

Having recently taken up the sport of Bowls, I found nowhere in the coastal area of Kent selling the necessary equipment, until I came across Tony Wilson in his 'hidden away' shop in Hythe.


The man seemed to know his stuff and I confirmed that when asking around club members. He was extremely helpful, even to the extent of allowing my partner to try woods before purchase.


Not only bowls wear here either. I enjoyed a superb experience recently when looking for an item myself. A Dad came in to the shop with young son to choose his first cricket bat. Tony, the shopkeeper, talked the lad through the important job of sizing correctly, etc. and the boy left the shop bursting with joy. Took me back some years!


I'll certainly be back for equipment, soon,and checking his website. I've also noted the shop handles a lot of raquets, with 'no strings attached', worth remembering. Difficult to get these restrung anywhere south of Maidstone!

Visited this shop last week for bowls equipment. They have a reasonable selection of Bowls Wear and Bowls for sale. They didn't have what we wanted in stock, they took our order and managed to have goods delivered 6 days later. I was very happy with the service and expect to use them again in the future.
