Good burgers, good fish and chips, and good open mics on Mondays. This bar has a friendly neighborhood vibe. Locals come here to catch sporting events on the TVs. The food and drinks are all reasonably priced. The Monday open mic night (8 pm to midnight) was fun to attend and watch talented musicians perform. Good vibes all around

If you are a singer and are looking for an open mic in Paris DO NOT GO TO RUSH BAR FOR THEIR Monday night jam. There is a list but it apparently does not matter to Igor, the master of the evening who calls up whoever he feels like calling up whenever he feels like it. We arrived a bit after 7pm for the scheduled 7:30 jam which finally started after 8pm. I put my name on the suddenly materialized list which already had 7 names on it. So I am number 8. At after 10pm and two hours of 7 people playing music (3-4 numbers each) Igor announced that the music was going to move from the main floor to the basement room so they could add in drums and really make some noise.
I got his attention and said "I am next on the list..." He brushed me off and said "there is no order to the list." There were singers performing tonight who were new to the club but most others seemed to be regulars and friends of Igor's. What a crappy system to not let newcomers know that even though you get there before the start time and "sign up" on the list you WILL NOT BE CALLED UP IN ORDER and who knows if you will ever get to play. So SKIP this place if you are a newcomer...

Mick is headed back to the homeland after 14 years in France, we'll have to see how the other bartenders are.

The French bartender I met today (Friday/Vendredi 12/1/18) insinuated everyone else was shite and not French, was not very pleasant, scoffed when I asked for some water, and refused to let me pay with credit card, I didn't bother asking why as I'd just seen another person use theirs, I'm just assuming he's a dick but I could be wrong. I give everyone a few 'first impressions', I'll update if proven wrong.

Decent beer selection. Small but nice place and every pub goer I've met has been great. 5 stars without the holier than thou attitude!

Very interesting little bar in the 11th arrondissement near the Richard Lenoir and St Ambroise metro stations.

Although the name and the fact that it shows the football matches from the UK (it's a Liverpool supporters pub apparently) single it out as an English pub, aside from when these matches happen it just feels a bit like a regular French bar, but with friendlier service and a slightly more international feel. The language swings between French and English and on warmer days many of the patrons sit on the tables outside and interact with passer's by in this extremely pleasant neighbourhood.

I suppose the only drawback for me was that it was a bit costly but thenit's pretty much averagely priced for Paris. It's just if, like me, you are coming over with some worthless hunks of metal we call 'pounds', then you may want to find a cheaper establishment for a longer session.

Fun pub to watch a foot ball (soccer) game. They let you carry in food. Low on atmosphere but decent music, bar tenders, and crowd. There's a blow dryer in the ladies bathroom in case, you know, you need a new 'do.

As an American on my first trip abroad, I found this little pub to be an amazingly comfortable place to meet locals, make friends and relax. Also, I had one of my most magical Parisian moments at this very bar:

My husband is an avid record shopper, and went to the record store next door to shop. My go-to activity while he shops is to drink, so I popped in here. The owner is an Irish gentleman (named Adrian) and his English wife, and they have two young kids. As I was drinking my beers and hanging out, we had a great conversation about his love for the area and how he ended up buying the bar. Later, when my husband came in from shopping, we took our beers outside to the sidewalk to relax outside. There's a school for young children across the street, and we were outside just as the locals all came in on bikes and on foot to pick-up their little ones. The street/area was aflurry with locals, friends and precious little kids all playing and enjoying life. Also, most people were walking away with baguettes from the bakery around the corner. It was a true slice of life for that neighborhood and I loved the whole experience.

We went back another night and he was hosting a watching party for soccer/futball and the place was packed. However, we met more great locals, and had a blast. Highly recommend.

I don't have enough good things to say about this pub and it's people. As American girls traveling to Paris for the first time, we were looking for a place we could speak to someone other than ourselves and have a good conversation. Everyone from the owner to the local friends were so welcoming and made us feel part of the family. The beer was great too!! I wouldn't expect anything else from a true Irishman. Say hi to Vanilla for us guys!
