We were initially put off the Wyvern when moving to Fleet some years back. Recently, however, it has developed more of an appeal, maybe its just the time of life.

Lunchtimes, there's a good menu, several fish dishes as well as the traditional. I had a pleasant pint with my colleague and noticed that there are benches outside for the summer.

Inside, it does look quite dark and there is a prominent Sky Sports TV which personally I'd rather not have as I like to talk whilst I drink rather than goggle the box.

The building itself fits in very well with the other turn-of-the-century houses along the road and there appears to be plenty of parking.

Being in a residential 'suburb' of Fleet, I expect most visitors are locals but it could make a lunchtime change from the sometimes over-busy pubs in the centre?

A nice local pub with some good food which is well priced. I usually head down here with my mates to watch the footie or rugby as they have 3 large sky sports tvs which are great for watching the game whilst having a pint. Staff are very friendly and when sport is not on, it can be a good place for families. They have a garden area which is lovely in the summer as well as good parking facilities, however dont drive back if you have been drinking. Mainly a locals haunt, however very pleasant, and some good cask beers.

I Love Coming to the Wyvern! its a great local Pub! the meals are excellent and the carvery! you get served super quick too! its great in the summer aswell as they have really nice seating outside. also it is a family pub and suitable for children as bob himself has a daughter! they have a really nice swingset slide etc and normally no bad language is used unless of course a rival game of football:) i really recommend it!

If you like your food less than satisfactory and over priced, your saloon bar unclean and stinking of urine and your bar sopping wet in old beer not to mention a dodgy tummy the day after then this is the place for you. Oh and while your in there check out the unflushable toilet in the men's. I went back 3 weeks later and they still had the same problems!! The Sunday roast dinner in the carvery was a joke and the pub landlord just sat in the bar getting drink with his yuppie mates!! Not the way to run a business!!

Good food. Family and young child friendly. Bit above average prices but food was above average to go with it. Nice atmosphere with staff that were proactive and attentive, the chef on this lunch time was really nice and he made sure that we enjoyed are time in the Wyvern. Would happily return.
