Great vet.
I have two dogs. Wish there was a bit more focus, instead of treating it as a 'oil change'. Besides that. Clean facility, nice staff. And price is great.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shina S.Raleigh, Estados Unidos0116 oct 2022
I've been coming to Dr. Robbins for all my pets' care needs for over 10 years and she is one of the best vets around the area.
She is extremely knowledgeable and will really work with you (the owner) to give the best care for your pet. Her prices are very reasonable (previous vets I've been to charge way more for the same procedure) and she is NOT one of those vets who uses pushy/aggressive tactics for you to pay for unnecessary procedures and medications.
The previous vet I had before Dr. Robbins told me my cat had a bad heart murmur and really pushed me to get an ultrasound done, expensive bloodwork, and all this (unnecessary) medication which totaled over $3,000 out of pocket for me. I became very suspicious when they pushed for me to do even more very expensive $$$$bloodwork I so went to Dr. Robbins for a second opinion and she told me she did NOT hear any kind of heart murmur and after hearing her professional opinion, never returned to my previous vet. My cat ended up living up to age 17 years and he passed away quietly from old age with NO heart issues whatsoever.
Moreover, her staff is awesome! They are some of the most compassionate animal loving people you will ever meet and are extremely helpful and supportive. You can't go wrong coming to this clinic.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Carmen C.UNIVERSITY PA, Estados Unidos01129 ene 2023
Very disappointed with their protocol. Majority of vets allow you to go in with your pets. They are still doing the drop of thing supposedly because someone in the practice had an organ transplant. Should this be true this person should be home recuperating and on disability.

I recently had to make a hard choice to have my eldest dog put down due to his declining health and quality of life. I came in and had to wait due to 2 emergency cases, so Oliver and I sat in the car spending his last moments together. After about 50 minutes we were told we could go inside, so we waited some more in the waiting room and I filled out the forms and gave them back to the technician.
Then we went back into the exam room and waited some more. Doctor Robinson came in and examined Oliver, which I thought strange since I was having him put down. She left and came back and was going to put him down. Obviously no one had read the paperwork I filled out stating my preferences. Dr. Robinson muddled through, making me most uncomfortable, since this was hard enough, but the fact that no one in the exam room had even looked at the paperwork, and we were now going over this right over Oliver's head. I was speechless, I was held together so tight. I finally left and waited for his collar which I didn't understand why it couldn't have been given to me when I left the exam room with his leash. I waited about 15 more minutes in the waiting listing to the office staff make very inappropriate comments. It was the most unprofessional situation I have ever experienced at such a sad moment. I was offered no condolences. Nothing. Just a very bad experience. But then as I was writing to Dr. Robinson and staff, I remember just in March/April my eldest female dog Lili tore her ACL and was in such pain, however when I called the office I was told they were to busy to see her. So I found Dr. Lynn in College Park and we went there. I will never go back to this place again due to the unprofessionalism and total lack of compassion. I did receive a letter back from the staff, I don't know if Dr. Robinson even saw my letter, because the letter I received was written by a fourth grader who doesn't proof read the correspondence before sending it out. It was signed MANAGEMENT!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 469279136825 may 2017
They switched locations. Their Hospital is located in the Burtonsville Animal Hospital. They just did not take the sign down. The doctor is great! She has been there since my dog was a puppy and he is 8 now. She knows all her stuff. The new location smelled horrible when I got in and their was just dried pee in the hall. It does not take long for someone to wipe pee up. I did not like the scenery walking into the new location. The staff is informative but not super friendly. I'm still going to go here becuase of the doctor for sure.

Dr. Robbins was completely thorough and went above and beyond treating my little Roxy. The entire staff was also very friendly.

Brought my puppy in because she wasn't acting normal at all. She's usually playful and runs around with her siblings every morning in the yard.. but the day I brought her in she was curled up in a ball and wasn't moving or eating. I told the doctor that this was not normal... without even really checking my puppy she came to a conclusion that my dog had an upset stomach because it was normal for puppies... I only came to this location because it was an emergency and I couldn't get an appointment at my regular vet office. So, after a week my puppy was still the same... I brought her back to my regular vet office and found out that she had torn a ligament. If I could give this location zero stars, I would..... never plan on coming back here

Dr. Robbins is a true animal lover. I've always been impressed with her kindness, patience and willingness to answer all of my questions, but this week she came through for me in the biggest way because her medical skills and caring saved my cat's life.
She never gave up on him and stuck with him and kept trying. Her efforts paid off. She unblocked the blockage in his urethra and saved him. I'll always be grateful.
The prices at this clinic are very fair. They are very flexible with scheduling and really work to accommodate your needs. The staff are always very loving and gentle with the animals. I highly recommend Dr. Robbins and her staff.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Kristen F.Silver Spring, Estados Unidos030921 jul 2016
I came in for an emergency visit at 5:30pm after calling at 5:15pm. My new kitten was coughing and sounded like she couldn't breathe, and I was extremely panicked. The people at the front desk were extremely kind, and they allowed me to come in even though they are not an emergency hospital and even though I was a new patient. Everyone was extremely kind and I was in and out within one hour. The staff were wonderful with my kitten and were patient with me as I explained my concerns. Although I was planning to take my cat to my family's vet, I will be sticking with Briggs Chaney Animal Hospital because it is a wonderful place.
