I came here solo on weekday at noon with no reservation. Overall, happy with food and service provided. They have either pre determined menu which according to waiter can change from week to week
3 course - 85,000 ARG
11 course - 120,000 ARG (~$40 USD at time of review)
I tried their 111 course and very satisfied. Price is reasonable for fine dining. Very chilled and cool ambience, super friendly staff. Food though little in portion packs a punch and hit the taste bud at high note. Highly recommended!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Maria P.Iowa City, Estados Unidos026111 ene 2023
I went to El Papagayo restaurant with my family on December 30, 2022. We went there for lunch. Since we were six, they had prepared us a big table on the second floor, in a private room. My brother and I had the tasting menu, the rest of my family had the executive menu. The tasting menu included around 10 dishes, and some snacks. The menu also included a drink: pomelo lemonade with fermented honey. The executive menu also included the pomelo drink and some snacks, but only three dishes.
Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They explained each dish. To go upstairs to our room we had to walk by the small kitchen. The kitchen was impeccable. All the kitchen staff also greeted us which felt welcoming as well.
This is a small and intimate restaurant and I wouldn't recommend it for large groups (more than 8 people.)
Everything in the restaurant works in harmony and seems to be designed for this space exclusively: the building, the furniture, the interior design, the utensils, the pottery where food is served, the glasses.
Every dish was delicious, and I probably won't find the right words to describe to you how amazing the whole experience is. I have visited restaurants all around the world, this is now one of my favorites. If you enjoy good food, you need to visit this restaurant. If you like good design, you need to visit this restaurant. If you love architecture, you must visit this restaurant.
Since Argentina's economy is not doing so well right now, this restaurant is very cheap for people coming from the US or other countries with a stronger currency. We paid less than $150 USD for all six of us.

An outstanding dining experience in every respect: superbly prepared and presented cuisine, professional, passionate wait staff, and a modern, yet cozy atmosphere occupying a 12 ft wide, deep slice between two larger buildings.
El Papagayo serves a multi-course feast I've enjoyed twice now on separate business trips to Córdoba, each time with a unique array small plates surrounding a generous main attraction.
The combination of complementary yet slightly opposing flavors in each dish is nothing short of fine, gastronomic art.
Take it in slowly and savor the world-class faire.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gabriel S.Rancho Palos Verdes, Estados Unidos01031692 dic 2018
If you would have only one meal in Argentina, this has to be it.
Comfortably at the top of Argentina's best restaurants, above Roux and Darío Gualtieri, and universes superior to Aramburu in Buenos Aires.
The space is simply amazing, the service impeccable, the 11-steps tasting menu one delight after another.
The music is unobtrusive and well selected, the whole staff is impeccably professional, welcoming and warm, no unnecessary stiffness here.
The food is just heavenly delight, the ingredients superbly balanced and with a couple of daring but extremely successful marriages of ingredients.
The portions are perfect, the ware is of an adorable design and perfectly accompanies the contents.
The quality-price ratio is highly favorable.
Chef Javier Rodriguez is doing a superb job, and the praise is universal, and well-deservedly so.
He has another venue, Standard 69, a casual spot with comfortable choices that we also visited for a relaxed, simpler but equally tasty lunch.
Frankly, I can keep going with the praise, but 'nough said, a great chef and a great staff that will make your night a memorable one.
Don't miss it!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Paula M.West Bloomfield Township, Estados Unidos110731828 mar 2018
I have been fortunate to travel a lot, hands down this is this best food experience that I have ever had. Just a heads up, this is reservation only. From the moment you enter into the restaurant, you feel that you are apart of a special experience (especially when you start with a complementary cocktail). You have a choice between the seven and ten course meal---I choose the 7. I was stuffed by the 3rd. In addition to the food being innovative, the ambiance was spectacular. Did I mention they have an awesome sommelier? Bottom line: this is an absolute gem.
