Entre Santos

Wow, incredible food and drinks and probably my favorite place I dined at during my time in Spain. My friend and I wanted to eat something local but were getting tired of the typical Spanish tapas so decided to give this place a try, and Entre Santos definitely puts on a unique and delicious twist.

Before I talk about the food though, I have to mention the service was pretty bad - our food came out super super slow, one dish came out 90 minutes after we had ordered it and the other dishes like 40 - 60 minutes after we had ordered and it was a frustrating wait since we had other plans in the evening. It was nearly impossible to get a server's attention and they didn't check up on us at all, so although the food was amazing, I docked off a star for their lackluster service. If you have all the time in the world, you should definitely come here but if you're in a rush, it's a no-go.

Every dish we ordered was very tasty, but our favorites had to be the grilled squid with apple and mint mayo and the chicken mohammed with harissa sauce and orange confit. So so good and unique combinations we wouldn't have thought to try together before. Somehow the fruity additions to the squid and chicken really work and served as the highlight or bonus point of the dishes. The cocktails we ordered were phenomenal as well, we ordered two each because we had to try more! The Red Hot Chili Rita is fantastic if you're a spicy drink lover like me.

Would absolutely come back but would have to plan out 2 - 3 free hours to dine here. Hope they can step up the service in the future.

I stopped by Entre Santos in Madrid for dinner recently. The restaurant was friendly for dining solo. Foodwise though, I'd give my experience 7.5/10:
- Spicy potatoes: 7.8/10: Good Potatoes. Sauce was nice with the potatoes
- Tenderloin: 7.3/10: Nice pieces of beef, good with egg but I expected more...

So this was the first tapas restaurant we went to in Spain/Madrid. It did not disappoint. Love the food and the presentation. It was our first time having tapas anywhere really.
The octopus was delicious. It gets quite busy later in the evening. We came around 7:30ish and were seated right away. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.

10 pm Sunday night June 9, 2024. Our Best meal in Madrid. 5+ Stars for the food. Seating not the most comfortable at least not at the high tops in back.
Salmon ceviche. Squid. Portobello mushroom. Tenderloin. All excellent. Cannot go wrong with any of the dishes we ordered. Our bill attached. Highly recommend the food.

Lovely meal. They're known for the seafood but I was in a meat eating mood so I ordered the croquettes with ropa vieja and the steak a la plancha. Both dishes were outstanding. They also aren't stingy on their wine pours. Definitely recommend.

Great atmosphere. The staff was great. Very energetic and helpful. Negroni caribeño was best Negroni I have had in a very long time. White wine was very good. The cheese and pretzel they brought to the table was very good. Other people got nuts, but the cheese was great. Had the entraña with chimichurri butter. Best beef I had on the trip! Had the grilled squid in bed if cooked apples. This is in the running for best dish of the trip! Patatas Bravas was very good. Had high hopes for the lemon pie. It did have a very tart lemon mousse(?) , but is was presented on a cooked, very dry, meringue that was tough to eat.

We had the beef croquettes, chicken Mohammad, and grilled Spanish tenderloin . Anyone that says that this food is less than perfect, may need to get their tastebuds examined. I came here with my cousin while on vacation. The staff were amazing and the food was even better. We ordered 3 dishes - they were out of the beef tenderloin but the waiter came back and said they had enough for one more dish. They brought each dish out one at a time. Just as we finished talking about how we couldn't believe how good it was, out came another dish that took our pallet to another level.

Go here!! A well deserved rating of "best tapas in Madrid" The idea of dining at 10pm
has gone a bit by the wayside today. We ate at 7p and the place was full, fun, and hopping. Sergio and the entire staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered exactly right and left feeling sated. Besides all of the seafood offerings, the pork croquettes and pork cheeks stood out. Cant wait to go back!!

went here while abroad!! Gabriel was our server and super nice even though i speak terrible spanish. Ordered the risotto, chicken and patatas bravos. chicken kinda looked like falafel but the risotto and potatoes were AMAZING!! We split a bottle of wine and two deserts! Reasonably priced, great spanish music and all the wine you need.

First the ambiance of this great place on a Monday night is great... is packed or sit at the bar where Salva & Mateo will take care of you really well.
Food wow!! Had the warm Portbello filled with goat cheese on an awesome fillow dough light and crisp over a bed of greens and a reduction of mango. The combination of flavors will blow your mind. Second the Chiripiones (calamari) grilled over semisweet orange relish, flavors your mouth are not specting!!!

I sat at the bar and the mix of people is incredible young bibrant! The bar has an array of cocktails the menu is not that big and it doesn't need to be. This is a perfect spot in Madrid centro near the gran via.

They are open late so no excuse to try it out.

Side note: while at "Entre Santos" a guest came back insisting that he was not charged enough for the incredible food and drinks his party had!! So he actually paid extra for another plate and drinks!!!
