Fat Patty's

Nothing fancy, but a very warm and friendly place to get some good bar food. The hamburgers are very good and so are the salads.

waited in the lobby for 20 minutes without being greeted or acknowledged, walked over to the bar and asked if we were suppose to sit ourselves and he proceeded to sit my parents and I. Waited another 10 minutes, no one approached us for drinks, several waitresses walked by but we must've been invisible. Went to Applebees instead. Sat and got drinks within 10 minutes :)

I am not a fan of Fat Patty's. Not the 1 in my area of Teays Valley but also the 1 in Huntington. Just bad experiences each time I "give it another try".
Their food is greasy and not good. Many occassions our waitress has not been very nice - almost every wait staff looks and acts like they absolutely hate their job and it shows. (And I'm always a very patient & kind customer since I used to waitress YEARS ago so I'm understanding) .

Overpriced bar food quality of food is sub par I've had better frozen food than this place won't be back

Its pretty good but there is a difference in service and food from place to place. Downtown Huntington or the one in Ashland is the best in my opinion. Hard to beat their burgers when they have their "A" game on!!!

This place started out okay but has gone way down hill over the years. They have removed almost all the good dishes from the menu and now serve some bar food items and hamburgers. Fourteen different hamburgers! How many different ways can beef be replicated on one menu? Fourteen! It is very unwelcoming atmosphere and the service is terrible. We sat for about ten minutes waiting on a server to acknowledge. Finally another server came over and said that our server would be with us soon and that she is "backed up." Crazy thing is the restaurant wasn't that busy. When she finally did come to our table she started with telling us that it would be at least a 20-25 minute "ticket" wait. She emphasized maybe longer. At that point we left and went to Whiskey Taco which was packed. Yet, we got seated, served chips and drinks, and got our dinners ordered and served before I could finish writing this review. We are done with Fat Paddies.

We're seated at 2:05, at 2:30 still hadn't had a waiter come and greet us/get drink order. Left. Zero stars.

Disappointing at best. This place was pretty darn good when it opened and the first few years, the lot was always full and it was always standing room only. So, when we arrived today at 2:45 P.M. on a Sunday and the lot was nearly empty, we should have ran.

To start, you get no silverware when seated, this doesn't make spreading out your burger toppings easy.

Starters, the fried pickles were okay, but not piping hot. The Jalapeno poppers were tasty but they were just warm. I'm aware that everything is pre-packaged, but it should be freshly fried and HOT. Nothing was hot today.

I ordered the raspberry popper burger, the burger was warm at best, the bun did not appear toasted, and it it was, it was only for a few seconds because there was no color or grill marks on it. Fat Patty's used to have the BEST sweet potato fries in town, today, they were nasty. There was so much sugar on these that I couldn't finish them, and they too, were just warm, and they were soggy and limp. The real kicker, they served my fries on top of a dill pickle wedge. I did get two pickles though, there was one without fries on the other side of the basket. Pickle was the best part of the meal.

Fiancé got a double burger, it too was also warm. He ordered loaded fries, they were not cooked long enough to have the least bit of crispiness, they were bad enough that he ate about four bites of them.

The waitress was plenty nice enough, but something is up with policy. When my fiancé requested his second refill, the waitress took his cup from the table, straw and all, to refill at the soda machine. This is a hygiene issue. The first one, she brought a new glass of soda.

We were so disappointed by our literal lukewarm experience that we won't be returning, and we used to really enjoy eating here.

Teays valley Fatt Patty's Food used to be amazing and super affordable but since they got bought out again it's tanked hard. Food portions are noticeably smaller and prices have gone up and the quality of the food itself has tanked. Service has always been ok, not crazy on the ambience since the remodel either.

We may have just went on a bad night, but was a tad disappointed. Everything was fine & we'll probably go back when we're in the area, but if you're used to the Ashland, KY Fat Patty's, this one was a little bit of a let down. Still good & still recommend, but if you're in the area from out of town there's better food close by.
