Garrafeira do Carmo

We bought Port wine here upon recommendation of hotel staff. The service in this store is second to none. Guy was very friendly and helpful. He even packed our wines good enough for check in at the airport. Another guy opened some for us to taste.

On a trip to Porto we visited many wineries and port cellars eager to purchase the best. Bias was of course a concern However at Garrafeira we felt very comfortable that we were getting good unbiased advise. The tasting, purchase, handling and shipping to California was world class. We will definitely return.
