Amazing gelatos and flavors, but the crepes were underwhelming. Just come for the ice cream on a cone!

Since the two heladerías near us were closed, but we really wanted helado my roommate and I walked a mile and a half to get to this place at 11:15 on a Monday night. Totally worth the walk, even though the place had already put away most of its helado options, therefore giving us few options to choose from, what we got was delicious. A little more pricey than other heladerías in the area, but the perfect level fo creaminess and sweetness.

Good ice cream place. I had a small cone with Pesto di Pistacchio and Caffé Corretto all'Anice and both flavors were good. The ice cream itself is super creamy and melts quite quickly. Prices are in line with other ice cream spots in Madrid.

Our favorite gelato shop of the trip - we went twice! La Romana is very authentic, and not catered to tourists - the flavors are solely labeled in Spanish. They have seating available inside, and a dessert case showing beautiful desserts that I assure are delicious. Some of the flavors we enjoyed were hazelnut, biscuit, yogurt, strawberry and more! Check this spot out for authentic gelato and rotating unique flavors. free WiFi too!

Super delicious! A great spot in Malasaña with a wide range of flavors to choose from. I had the tiramisu and a hazelnut small and the gelato was smooth and almost buttery. They also have plenty of other desserts such as crepes and brioche if you aren't in the mood for gelato. The seating is super clean and well air conditioned!

Delicious and creamy gelato. You could tell It was original flavors from Spain. None of the flavors were in English which was perfect!!

La Romana is amazing! After I discovered it, I went two days in a row because I couldn't get enough of it. I highly recommend the panna cotta with berries and pine nuts, but you really can't go wrong with flavors. It's a little bit more expensive than some other heladerías (3 € for a small cup), but it's absolutely worth the price.

So delicious! Right across from my dorm. Would recommend you try the crema de 1972 or something like that. All the flavors are great, though.

hands down the best chocolate cone i've had in this world, literally. the gelato is perfect consistency, not grainy, or too dense -- this place is known for their chocolate so i would indulge in the coco if you know what i mean. the cream is made in-house on the hour, well worth waiting for if they are whipping up another batch.
